Speaking With Purpose

Party time!!!!

Well today was another full day here in Hildesheim! We started off with another trip to 5th grade classes.  We answered their questions and played fun American games with them.  Red Rover was a HIT! Later, we talked with readers and had some great conversations.  My session with Ann-Kristin went VERY well.  She began to open up more and become more comfortable talking to me in English.  She still is hesitant, but I know she is thinking about the questions I am asking her, which I admit, can be tough. :) My conversation with Marina went SUPER well too! We decided to start reading out of the Bible since the Luke workbook was easy for her.  We started reading out of the NIV in 1 John.  We only read 1-2:10, but it was JAMPACKED full of conversation topics.  She is so wise spiritually for all 17 years of her age.  I love talking to her and answering her questions about life and giving her advice on things I can relate too.  We concluded the day with a party for our readers.  We went out to a grade school picnic and had a picnic of hot pretzels, veggies, and M&M cookies. Playing fun games like three legged races and egg on a spoon topped off the evening.  Overall, a great day full of love :)
